Morse's comprehensive Wi-Fi HaLow portfolio includes the industry's smallest, fastest and lowest power IEEE 802.11ah compliant SoCs. The MM6104 SoC supports 1MHz, 2MHz and 4MHz channel bandwidth. The higher performance MM6108 SoC supports 1MHz, 2MHz, 4MHz and 8MHz bandwidth, can provide tens of Mbps throughput, and supports the transmission of high-definition video streams. These Wi-Fi HaLow SoCs offer 10 times the range, 100 times the area and 1000 times the capacity of traditional Wi-Fi solutions.
The IEEE 802.11ah-based Wi-Fi HaLow signal uses a narrow band in the unlicensed sub-1 GHz frequency band outside the highly congested 2.4 GHz traditional Wi-Fi band, penetrates obstacles more easily, and can extend beyond 1 km, connecting Remote IoT devices across residential, retail, office park, campus, warehouse and factory environments. Specifically developed for the Internet of Things, Wi-Fi HaLow supports the latest enterprise-grade WPA3 security standard, and a single access point (AP) can connect up to 8191 devices, simplifying network deployment and reducing costs.
