Data released by the National Energy Administration shows that from January to May this year, the cumulative new grid-connected capacity reached nearly 200 million kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 57%. This has pushed China's cumulative photovoltaic (PV) power installation scale to a historic breakthrough of 1 billion kilowatts, reaching 1.08 billion kilowatts. This is equivalent to the total installed capacity of about 48 Three Gorges Power Stations, accounting for 30% of China's total power installation capacity and nearly half of the global PV installation scale.
JinkoSolar's self-developed 182 N-type high-efficiency monocrystalline silicon cell (TOPCon) has achieved a full-area cell conversion efficiency of 27.02%, as strictly tested and certified by the National Photovoltaic Industry Metrology and Testing Center. Meanwhile, its N-type TOPCon high-efficiency photovoltaic module has also obtained certification from TUV Sud, an international authoritative organization, with the highest module conversion efficiency reaching 25.58%. Both figures have refreshed the world records for efficiency in similar global products.
