At 5:34 on July 15, the Tianzhou-9 cargo spaceship was successfully launched, smoothly delivering the "space express" to the space station. The supplies include 2 sets of brand-new Feitian extravehicular suits, which will support the in-orbit work and living needs of the astronaut crews of Shenzhou-20 and Shenzhou-21.
The 750kV power transmission and transformation project around the Tarim Basin has been fully connected, forming a 750kV ultra-high voltage transmission ring network surrounding the Tarim Basin. The project consists of 9 750kV power transmission and transformation sub-projects completed in phases, with a total of 9 substations, nearly 10,000 iron towers, and a total line length of 4,197 kilometers. Among the 9 sub-projects, 8 have already been put into operation. After the final sub-project passes acceptance and defect elimination, the entire project is expected to be put into operation in November this year.
The 12th World High-Speed Railway Congress is being held in Beijing, with the 17th China International Modern Railway Technology and Equipment Exhibition running concurrently. During this period, a superconducting electric high-speed maglev train with a speed of 600 km/h made its appearance.
The superconducting electric high-speed maglev achieves contactless operation between the train and the track by utilizing electromagnetic induction between the on-board superconducting magnets and the track coils. When the vehicle is moving at low speeds, it runs on rubber wheels. Once the speed reaches 150 km/h, the rubber wheels retract, and the vehicle operates in a levitated state, with a maximum design speed of 600 km/h.
Shenzhen has achieved the first case of a robot autonomously taking the subway to deliver goods. The "Arctic Tern" robot utilizes AI scheduling algorithms and lidar technology to provide efficient unmanned delivery services for subway stores during off-peak hours, solving the problems of difficult parking and high costs in traditional delivery.
Recently, China's first ocean-grade intelligent comprehensive scientific research vessel "Tongji" was officially delivered in Shanghai. The "Tongji" has a length of 82 meters and a width of 15 meters, capable of carrying 15 crew members and 30 scientific researchers, with a cruising range of 8,000 nautical miles. In open waters, it can achieve automatic navigation and intelligently set an energy-saving route. Meanwhile, it boasts extremely strong communication and collaboration capabilities, enabling comprehensive three-dimensional communication between ships, between ship and shore, as well as between ship and aerial drones and underwater robots, thus realizing the three-dimensional networking function covering air, sea and underwater aspects.
