Number of Valid Domestic Invention Patents in China Exceeds 5 Million

Latest data released by the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) shows that China has become the world's first country where the number of valid domestic invention patents has surpassed 5 million. Its PCT (Patent Cooperation Treaty) international patent applications have ranked first globally for six consecutive years. Among the world's top 5,000 brands, the total value of Chinese brands reaches 1.81 trillion US dollars, ranking second in the world. The direct output value of geographical indication products is close to 970 billion yuan.

Chinese Scientists Achieve Higher-Order Nonequilibrium Topological Phases in Quantum Systems for the First Time

A collaboration between the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) and Shanxi University has, for the first time, realized the detection of higher-order nonequilibrium topological phases based on the programmable superconducting quantum processor "Zuchongzhi No.2". The global industrial scale of this field is expected to reach 908.9 billion US dollars by 2035.

This achievement marks a significant breakthrough in quantum simulation for exploring complex topological states of matter, laying a solid foundation for achieving quantum advantage in quantum simulation problems using superconducting quantum processors. Recently, the relevant research findings were published in Science.

DeepSeek Releases V3.2 Series Models to Enhance Agent Capabilities

On the evening of December 1st, DeepSeek simultaneously launched two official versions of models: DeepSeek-V3.2 and DeepSeek-V3.2-Speciale. DeepSeek-V3.2 aims to balance reasoning ability and output length, making it suitable for daily use, such as Q&A scenarios and general Agent (intelligent agent) task scenarios.

Key Breakthrough! The "Strongest Material on Earth" Arrives

A high-performance carbon fiber project in Shanxi Province has been completed and put into production, successfully achieving the localized mass production of 12K small-tow T1000-grade carbon fiber. This marks a key breakthrough in the large-scale mass production of high-performance carbon fiber in China.

The T1000-grade carbon fiber produced by the project has a single filament diameter of only 6 to 7 microns, less than 1/10 of a human hair, yet its tensile strength exceeds 6400 MPa (megapascals). Its density is only 1/4 that of steel, while its strength is more than 5 times that of steel. Taking a 1-meter-long T1000-grade carbon fiber from Jinan Huayang Carbon Co., Ltd. as an example, it weighs only 0.5 grams but can bear a load of over 200 kilograms.

First 3D Atlas of Key Cells in the Entire Mouse Brain Drawn, Unlocking the Code of Neural Signal Balance

A research team with the core participation of academicians from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, in collaboration with Huazhong University of Science and Technology, has achieved a groundbreaking result in the field of brain science. The team successfully developed a whole-brain cell architecture analysis platform, and for the first time in the world, completed the drawing of 3D distribution maps of 20 key types of cells in the entire mouse brain, and further uncovered the neural signal balance mechanism between the cerebral cortex and the cerebellum. This landmark research achievement has been published in the international top academic journal Nature Communications, setting a brand-new reference benchmark for global brain science research.
