At Beijing Time on January 13, 2026, China successfully launched Remote Sensing Satellite-50 Group 01 into the predetermined orbit from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center, using the Long March 6A carrier rocket. The launch mission achieved complete success.
This satellite is mainly used for national land surveys, crop yield estimation, disaster prevention and mitigation, and other fields.
The mission marked the 624th flight of the Long March series carrier rockets.

On January 12, the first flight test vehicle of Zhongke Aerospace’s Lihong-1 successfully completed its suborbital flight test mission at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in China. The recoverable payload module landed safely and was retrieved via the parachute system.
