China Successfully Launches Satellites of Low-Orbit Constellation 19 for Satellite Internet

On January 19, China successfully launched the satellites of Low-Orbit Constellation 19 for satellite internet with the Long March-12 carrier rocket at the Hainan Commercial Space Launch Site. The satellites entered the preset orbit smoothly, and the launch mission achieved a complete success.

World’s First and Largest Intelligent Cylinder Successfully Rolls Off the Production Line

The Ceres-1 sea-launch version (Yao-7) carrier rocket, assembled and delivered from the Oriental Aerospace Port in Haiyang, Yantai, ignited and lifted off from the sea area of Rizhao, sending the 06th group of Tianqi Constellation satellites (a total of four satellites from the 37th to the 40th) into the preset orbit, marking the complete success of the launch mission. This launch is the first rocket mission of Shandong's sea launches this year and also China's first private aerospace rocket launch in the new year.

World’s First and Largest Intelligent Cylinder Successfully Rolls Off the Production Line

The world’s largest hoisting cylinder for a pile driving vessel has successfully rolled off the production line in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province.

Known as the "heart" of a pile driving vessel, this independently developed cylinder in China has a bore diameter of 1.6 meters and a piston stroke of 21 meters, with a total length of nearly 50 meters when fully extended—equivalent to the height of a 17-storey building. Its rated thrust reaches 5,000 tons, which is like lifting 3,500 family cars at one time. The cylinder ranks first in the world in terms of weight, diameter, length and thrust, and will be installed on the world’s largest 156-meter dynamic positioning pile driving vessel China Railway Major Bridge Pile 1, which is currently under construction.

Boosting Computing Power: Peking University Team Achieves Breakthrough in Multi-Physical Domain Fusion Computing Architecture

The research team of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence at Peking University has made a breakthrough, realizing the multi-physical domain fusion "Fourier transform" for heterogeneous integration of post-Moore's new devices, which has increased the computing power by nearly four times. A paper on this achievement was recently published in the international academic journal Nature Electronics.

This achievement focuses on breaking through the bottleneck of operator spectrum expansion for post-Moore's new devices, and is expected to meet the low-latency and low-power signal processing and computing demands in numerous current cutting-edge fields.

First Full Training on Domestic Chips! Zhipu and Huawei’s Open-Source New Model Ranks First in the World

Zhipu announced that GLM-Image, a new-generation image generation model open-sourced in collaboration with Huawei, claimed the first place on the rankings of Hugging Face, a world-renowned AI open-source community, within less than 24 hours of its open-sourcing.

Zhipu stated that this is the first time a domestic model fully trained on domestic chips has taken the top spot on the international stage, marking a breakthrough in the end-to-end independent R&D capability of China's AI models in international competition.
