From "seeing black holes" to "understanding black holes", researchers led by the Shanghai Astronomical Observatory leveraged data from the Event Horizon Telescope (EHT) and the Global Millimeter-VLBI Array (GMVA) to conduct dual-frequency joint spectral index imaging of the M87 black hole. The team obtained the first spatially resolved spectral index distribution at the event horizon scale and revealed how the spectral index varies with distance from the black hole’s center.

On July 24, the Lijian-1 Y15 carrier rocket developed by CAS Space lifted off from the Dongfeng Commercial Aerospace Innovation Test Zone. Adopting a "one rocket, five satellites" mode, it accurately sent five satellites including Chenguang-1 into preset orbits, marking a complete success of the launch mission.
Statistics show that the total mass of payloads delivered to orbit by this rocket model has exceeded 16 tons. On July 26, the TP200, China’s first multifunctional long-endurance unmanned aerial vehicle developed in accordance with airworthiness requirements, completed its maiden flight in Shandong Province. Independently developed by a domestic enterprise, the aircraft achieved all designed parameter targets during the flight, maintaining stable flight attitude, precise climb altitude control and standard-compliant cruising speed. The milestone marks a major technological breakthrough for China in the high-end civil UAV sector.
